Natalie Greer is an aspiring actress from Barry. She lives in Los Angeles and she attends Gene Cousineau's acting classes. She is portrayed by D'Arcy Carden.
Biography[]
Natalie was born and raised in Los Angeles. She allegedly smothered her twin in the womb.
Natalie is an aspiring actress who attends Gene Cousineau's acting classes, although she is rarely given big roles. Sally Reed often talks over her and disregards her feelings.
In Season 1, Natalie threw a house party and invited Zac Burrows in an effort to get to know him. Sally spent the party speaking alone with him until he left. This upset Natalie, as she was busy trying to remove the drunk and destructive Marines from her house, and therefore did not get to spend time with Zac.
For the Shakespeare showcase, Natalie was given the role of Lady Macbeth. Sally objected since she had only be given a minor role, and upstaged Natalie during performances. Sally eventually convinced Gene Cousineau to give her the part of Macbeth.
In Season 3, Natalie acts as an assistant to Sally on her show Joplin. Sally's treatment towards her grows worse. When Joplin is cancelled, Natalie is crushed as well. However, she listens to the BanShe producers' feedback and becomes a showrunner of Just Desserts, a show that caters directly to popular tropes.
Sally sees Natalie during a writer's room roundtable and believes Natalie stole her show and altered it to adhere to 'the algorithm'. She confronts Natalie in an elevator and verbally abuses her. Unknown to Sally, Natalie records the confrontation and sends it to a tabloid, resulting in Sally's reputation being ruined.
Many years later, Natalie is the lead of a massively successful sitcom, much to Sally's chagrin.
