"I hope this aggression isn't just about business. If you wanted in on my stash house, all you had to do was call me!"
―Cristobal to Goran Pazar[src]

Cristobal Sifuentes (d. 2019) was a Bolivian crime lord based in Los Angeles. As leader of the Bolivian Mob's LA operation, he was involved in a complicated feud with the Chechen Mafia, and became the romantic partner of their leader, NoHo Hank.

Around 2019, Cristobal convinced Hank to form an alliance with the other criminal organizations around L.A. and attempt to start a legitimate business. But after being threatened by his superiors, Hank killed their new associates and later had his men kill Cristobal, which would haunt him for the rest of his life.

Biography[]

Background[]

Cristobal was head of the Bolivian mob and husband to Elena Sifuentes for years. He worked alongside her father, Fernando and worked closely with his allies in Los Angeles.

Clash with the Chechens[]

Eventually, Cristobal decided to move to Los Angeles to help with operations. Upon his arrival, he was given a phone call by the head of Chechen operations in Los Angeles, Goran Pazar who tried to de-escalate the situation after it was learned that Cristobal was super nice.

At the same time, a black SUV was headed towards his plane that was driven by Taylor Garrett along with Barry Berkman, Chris Lucado, and Vaughn. The car was shot off the road and killed Taylor and Vaughn immediately. Chris and Barry escaped, though a Bolivian guard was killed during their escape, leading to Cristobal declaring war on the Chechens.

However, soon Goran Pazar and his men were killed by Berkman, preventing the war from ever occurring.

A new partnership[]

Not long after the death of Pazar, Cristobal merged his operations with what remained of the Chechens that was led by NoHo Hank. They ran operations in Los Angeles together until Cristobal began discussing to merge another group led by Esther into the operation much to Hank's dismay.

Forbidden love[]

Following Barry's killing spree at the Burmese monastery, Cristobal's entire operation crumbled with the complete loss of his soldiers. The dire situation ended up bringing Hank and Cristobal closer, with both starting a secret romantic relationship and being infatuated with each other.

Cristobal's relationship with Hank hit an unexpected obstacle when a group of Bolivian gangsters arrived in Los Angeles to restore their operation in the city; they were accompanied by Cristobal's father-in-law, revealing that Cristobal was actually married and had kids back in Bolivia. When the Bolivians planned to attack the greenhouse where the Chechens had been operating from, Cristobal warned Hank, who took his men away on a bus tour of Los Angeles to prevent them from being killed. Cristobal later decided to end things with Hank due to the Bolivian presence.[4]

Elena's capture[]

Seeing the tension rise, a plan to take out Fernando and the Bolivians was devised by Hank. Barry planted a bomb under the house that the Bolivians had been living in but the detonator malfunctioned. While Barry attempted to fix it, Cristobal convinced Fernando not to kill the Chechens and Fernando decided to return to Bolivia, ending operations in Los Angeles.

However, right as he agreed to it, the detonator went off, blowin the house up. As Barry made his escape, he saw that Cristobal survived the explosion. Cristobal was brought back to Hank at his house but they're reunion did not last long.

Learning of the bombing, Elena Sifuentes, Cristobal's wife and daughter to Fernando, arrived in LA to take Cristobal home and kill the Chechens. The Bolivians raided the Chechen's base of operations captured Hank and two of his men but at the same time, Cristobal was captured and sent back to Bolivia.

In Bolivia, Cristobal was tortured in the hopes that it would brainwash him into loving Elena again and not Hank. The brainwashing consistently failed much to Elena's dismay. She tried to manipulate him until she was shot in the head by Hank who freed Cristobal. The two escaped the compound, the only survivors of the entire raid.

Starting over[]

Cristobal and Hank decided that it was time to completely start over without the two mob groups. They soon formed a group of new soldiers to help with a major sand operation in LA. Upon learning of Barry's arrest, they came to the conclusion that Barry would have to die.

The two of them hired, El Toro, a hitman who sent podcaster assassins, Nestor Flores and his brother Chuy to kill Barry. Cristobal soon learned that the plan failed and that Barry had escaped during the shootout.

Betrayal and death[]

While having a party, NoHo Hank brings everyone in the operation to the water tower that is filled with sand. After taking group selfies, Hank asks Cristobal to leave with him but the mobsters asked Cristobal to see the photos. Cristobal was in the tower when Hank triggered a trap, killing everyone except Cristobal who was saved.

Cristobal awoke to the revelation that Hank betrayed the operation and was working with the Chechen Mafia once again. He was taken back to his home, where he sat on the couch while Hank and the mob bosses had dinner. Once they left, Cristobal confronted Hank and in the end, ended their relationship.

Cristobal attempted to leave with Hank begging the entire time that he stay but Cristobal leaves nonetheless. He gets to his car and after Hank goes back inside, is shot in the head by a Chechen.

Noho Hank would create a statue of Cristobal which would be displayed in the lobby of the building of his buisness, NoHoBal,
